What is modernism?
Modernism is a collective term that encompasses a vast amount of directions and styles within art, architecture, literature, and music, that impacted western culture in the 1900th. It is known that different styles and esthetic ideals had dispatched each other thru out time. But some basic principles of compassion and means, in European music, art and literature have stayed unchanged for hundreds of years. People painted based on muses and wanted a realistic outcome. It was a figurative way of creating art, mostly based on Filippo Brunelleschi central perspective concept to create a three-dimensional illusion in painting and other art forms. The Modernist artist, composers, and authors worked on creating a different reality and creating a cleaner tomorrow.
Who creates modernism?
In modernism there is no real space for the artist, everything should be possible to mass produce. The artistic production from this era is based on rules and the rules that work for everything. The modernist era is centered around a better life.
